  1. Save the job

    Paste the ad and the company, or drop the link: on Pro, the page is read for you and the card fills itself. Either way the ad’s own text is kept, so you can reread it before the interview.

    Choose the CV for that application and a copy is frozen as sent. Edit the CV tomorrow for another job and the tracker still shows the version the recruiter has.

  3. Move the card, get reminded

    Saved, applied, interview, offer. When a card enters applied, the follow-up is set a week out and an email reminds you; every move is recorded, so the history of each application is one glance.

What a spreadsheet cannot do

What it will not do

  • It will not apply for you. Nothing is sent to a job board or an employer; the tracker records what you did and reminds you of what is next.
  • It will not read every job page. Reading an ad from a link uses the AI and is part of Pro; on the free plan you paste the text. Some boards block every automated reader, Indeed does, and the tracker says so and asks for the text.
  • It will not tell anyone. The board is yours alone: no sharing, no visibility to employers, and it is deleted with your account.

About the job application tracker

Is the job application tracker really free?
Yes, on every plan and without a time limit. It needs a free account, the board is yours and has to be kept somewhere, but no card and no upgrade. Pro and Career add AI features around it, such as reading a job ad from a link; the board itself is the same for everyone.
What does the tracker keep for each application?
The company, the role, the location, the ad’s own text, the status, the date of every status change, the follow-up date, your notes, the exact CV you sent, frozen the moment you attached it and, if you wrote one, the cover letter. Everything is under your account and is exported or deleted with it.
How do the follow-up reminders work?
When an application enters applied, the first follow-up is scheduled seven days out unless you set a date yourself. On that day an email names the application and links to it. Each reminder is sent once; the next is a week later, until the application moves on.
Can it add a job from a link?
On Pro and Career, yes: paste the link and the page is read for you, company, role, location and the ad’s text. Public LinkedIn job pages work; Indeed blocks every automated reader, so for those you paste the text. On the free plan you always paste the text, which takes a few seconds.
Is the tracker better than a spreadsheet?
For a list of names, no. For a search, yes: a spreadsheet does not keep the CV you sent, cannot tell you which follow-up is due today, and does not link the cover letter and the interview preparation to the job. The tracker does those three things, and nothing a spreadsheet does better.
